Another work in the growing undulating spiral series.
This piece was more experimental in that no preconceived concept was employed, a
section of a Manzanita branch, a burl growing off one side was cut out, the burl
was first carved, by allowing the existing shape to talk to the artist, the
branch section was then used in the undulating suggestion of a spiral form,
which was placed in a manner suggested by the burl form. It is currently
being shown in the Sonoma County Museum, which opened on July 23, 2005. and runs
through September 4, 2005. This smaller work is suitable for display on
