Sculpture - Spiral Incarnation
A highly kinetic suspended, assembled spiral based Redwood Sculpture -  2004.

"Far and away the best prize that life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing!"
President Theodore Roosevelt

Glued Redwood - Hand Rubbed Lacquer Finish.
Suspended on fine cables.
W - 4'8", H- 6' (suspended approx. 2' above base line)

A highly kinetic sculpture, the slightest touch of a hand or breeze sets it into a rhythmic undulation that might extend for minutes.

The sculpture is assembled from three sections of various lengths fastened together with brass bolts with a patina, the nuts were shaped to remain obscure.

These images are from the Artistry in Wood Show at the Sonoma County Museum, the show was the 16th annual show at the museum and the 21st annual show for the organization.
