A durable hand polished lacquer finish allows light to reflects from deep within the wood grains.  The hand formed, hand finished Ferro-cement counter tops were shaped to achieve a seamless sculpted look, a subtle layer of silver pearl-essence plays off the stainless steel appliances nicely and adds depth the to the finish.

You probably noticed the subtle round-over effect on some cabinet corners and the counter tops as well, implemented to achieve a retro Art Deco/60's Diner look on multiple levels.
