"Far and away the best prize that
life offers is the chance to work hard at work worth doing!"
President Theodore Roosevelt
The Osprey House was a very creative
project, standing on it's own, incorporating many shaped and sculpted elements,
the forms of the decks, rails and the entire roof were, in a sense, sculptural.
Note the custom triangular
skylights! All the windows are custom created dual pane Redwood, many
casements with one large awning casement window.
The Cedar lined Bathroom/Sauna/ Spa
featured Redwood slatted benches and a very large custom bath built into this
slanted bay. Note the custom Redwood windows and extensive tile work.
This home was transformed in close
collaboration with David Vaupal and Ricky Tokubo. w.bouné is responsible
for numerous design decisions and hands on sculpting, tile
work, cabinetry etc. 1978-1980.
